RULES AND REGULATIONS

“Rules are the foundation of change; they create boundaries that prevent you from feeling overwhelmed and guidelines to keep you on track”. The main reason of the following rules and regulations is to discipline students.  (BIS)

*  Parents/Guardians and students have to follow all the rules and regulations of BIS (Which may be changed from time to time)

*  Student must attend the school regularly and punctually.

*  Student’s uniform must be clean and tidy. Shoes should be polished, hair to be neatly combed and nails closely trimmed.

*  No student will be allowed to attend class without proper uniform.

*  Attending the School Assembly is compulsory for all students.

*  Early departure will not be considered without prior permission.

*  Students should speak only in English in the School premises. The vernacular may be used during vernacular language classes.

*  Any kind of damage of school property, by any student or students, shall have to be repaired or compensated either individually or collectively.

*  The school is not responsible for loss of books, money and other valuable articles, brought by the students to the school. They should be very careful about their belongings.

*  Costly items, electronic gadgets, mobile phones & any type of Jewellery are strictly prohibited inside the school campus.

*  Students suffering from contagious and infectious diseases, shall not be permitted to attend the school.

*  The guardians are supposed to check their child’s Class Work, Homework, project and assignment on Daily basis.

*  Students are supposed to be present in the school after every vacation on time positively. In case of late Rs 100/- rupees shall be charged as late fine.

* Students must be well-behaved and well-disciplined inside and outside the classroom. If a student does not mend his/her behaviour continuously, he/she may be expelled from the school. 

*  All the rules and regulation must be followed by the students.

 

PAYMENT OF FEES

*  Fees are supposed to be paid as per the procurement of instalment (either monthly or quarterly) from 1st to the 15th of the month. A late fine of Rs. 100/- (Monthly) will be charged if fees are not paid before the 15th of the particular month.

*  Before the commencement of the Final examination, all fees till March should be cleared, failing which students will not be issued Hall Ticket.

*  Miscellaneous charges are to be paid along with the tuition fees at the commencement of the session or at the time of admission.

*  The first reminder will be sent to the parents on 16th of the respective month in which the fees are due. The name of the student will be struck off the rolls if he/ she fails to pay the fees three months consecutively.

*  The account department will issue a proper receipt for any payment of the fee. The matter should be brought to the notice of school authorities in case the receipt is denied.

 

ATTENDANCE RULES

*  Students must be present on the first and last working days before and after vacation/holidays, if failed to do so, strict action may be taken.

*  A minimum attendance of 75% in both academic and co-curricular activities/classes are mandatory for every student.

*  If a student found absent for 1 or 2 days, he/she will be asked for genuine reason. In case a student remains absent for more than six working days he/she has to submit a valid document.

 

EXAMINATION RULES

*  A student will not be allowed to appear in the examination if he/she is unable to fulfil the minimum criteria of attendance (75%)

*  There shall be 6 Assessments i.e., 4 Internal and 2 External.

*  Report Cards of the Examinations are to be collected by students along with their Parents/Guardians on the specified date.

*  Report Cards will be withheld if fees are not cleared within the specified due date. Fees will not be exempted under any circumstances.

*  Parents/Guardians who fail to attend the Parent-Teacher Meeting for collection of the Report Card will have to appeal to the principal for obtaining the Report Card. It will be solely the principal’s discretion to consider such applications.

 

TRANSPORT RULES

*   Student must carry School ID card every day, failing which they shall not be permitted to travel in the school Bus/Van.

*  Parents of small children shall accompany and help the child to board the Bus/van in the morning and wait to receive them in the evening.

*  Prior information will be given, if the school Bus/van fails to arrive on any day due to unforeseen circumstances. In that case students are supposed to come by their own means of transportation. No complaint will be entertained in such cases.

*  Students are expected to be at their respective stop just before the arrival of the school vehicle. The Vehicle will not wait for latecomers.

*  Children should stay away from the main road until the Bus/Van arrives.

*  Students will be responsible for any kind of damage due to their negligence or vandalism.

*  No student is allowed to eat inside the Bus/Van.

*  Shrieking, shouting, and inappropriate behaviour are strictly prohibited.

*  Parents are supposed to train their children regarding road safety.

*  Transport related information will be disseminated through mobile.

 

HOSTEL RULES

Students should read the rules and regulations carefully before signing the Hostel form.

*  Parents ID card will be mandatory for guardians to meet their wards.

*  Parents/Guardians are advised to attend Parents Teacher Meeting positively without fail.

*  Students are expected to maintain hygiene and cleanliness inside the campus.

*  Strict adherence to the prescribed dress code is expected.

*  The management & staff will not be responsible for personal belongings.

*  Students should reach to their respective hostel one day before the commencement of the classes.    

*  Students must turn off all the electrical equipment’s if not in use.

*  Any kind of personal celebrations are strictly prohibited inside the campus premises.

*  Students are not allowed to gather unnecessarily after 9:00 PM.

*  Loitering in the hostel room during class hours will not be appreciated without any appropriate reason.

*  Students are not allowed to use any kind of electronic appliances (Mobile Phone, Heater, Iron, electric kettle, and video games etc.) in the school premises.

*  Food will be served only in the Dining Hall in the prescribed timings. No one is allowed to take food outside the Dining Hall. Wasting food & water is cognizable offense.

*  Students should not misbehave with teachers, wardens and other non-teaching staff.

*  Visitors are allowed to meet their wards only in the office or visiting room between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sunday only. Outsiders are not allowed to stay inside the hostel.

*  Complaints regarding electric equipment, plumbing, etc., are to be entered in the Complaint Book.

*  Students should not enter the rooms of others without permission.

*  Strict silence shall be maintained in the hostel from 11.00 PM to 5.00 AM.

*  Inebriant substances are strictly prohibited in the school premises. Strict action will be taken against the offenders.

*  Parents may talk to their wards on 7602807576 on Sunday only between 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

*  Latecomers will be penalized Rs.100/- on daily basis.

*  No leave will be granted over the telephone and during class hours.

*  Boarders may get leave once in a month on their guardian's written request only.

*  No leave will be granted for social functions i.e., Jalsa, Urs, Khatna, and Aqeeqah.

*  Students may be granted a leave up to a maximum period of 3 days in case of an emergency and this can be availed only once in each term.
